Stand Tall Sewing and Alterations is owned and run by entrepreneur, Karah Smith. Karah fell in love with sewing as a young girl and completed a Sewing and Dressmaking diploma from Stratford Career Institute in her grade 12 year of high school. Karah started out by sewing and doing alterations for herself knowing that at 6’3” it is sometimes impossible to find clothes that fit just right. She continued on by sewing for friends and family and has since been taking on more clients, growing in her skills and love of the job. Karah had a dream to start her own sewing business and is thrilled that her dream is now a reality. Not only does she love the process, but also the end result of standing confident in clothes that actually fit properly. Through quality stitching and fair prices, Karah believes that you, too, can stand a little taller.
